Hi.

I’ve been working with nonprofits for over a decade, at arts organizations, a park conservancy, and now in historic preservation. I believe in the power of storytelling and embracing complicated narratives. I strive to create programs that appeal to broad audiences while being true to an organization’s mission. In my current role as the Director of Communications for the Preservation League of NYS, I have the opportunity to engage a statewide audience, exploring different corners of the state to highlight a variety of things that make New York so special. New York is a large and diverse state, with incredible people doing amazing work for their communities everywhere you look.

After receiving a degree in Art History from the State University of New York at New Paltz, I worked for several years at Dia: Beacon, pacing the galleries and stocking the bookshelves. I made my way to Pittsburgh and received a Master of Arts Management degree from Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz School of Public Policy & Management. I made my way to St. Louis, MO, where I found myself and my husband. We moved to Schenectady, NY, in 2018 and firmly believe that #schenectadydoesntsuck.
